Omnitronics Widening Channels in America

L-R: Ben Pearce, Doug Musser, Cyrus Leech and Edwin Garcia.

Omnitronics Inc., headquartered in Perth, Australia has been busy over the past few months investing significant resources into its US-based operations to further support LMR dispatch and ROIP backhaul markets.

The organization has been hiring from the competition and has added a new team to their existing US operations, tasked with growing market share in both North and South America.

Joining the US-team are highly experienced, trusted and respected LMR professionals with proven track records in the market, including Doug Musser, formerly of RF Technologies and Zetron, is joining Omnitronics as Channel Manager to assist in the development of a premier Dealer network across the region.  Doug has worked in the LMR industry in the USA for over 30 years and comes with a wealth of knowledge, particularly in the dispatch segment.

Ben Pearce, formerly of Codan Radio/Daniels Electronics has also joined the team as a Senior Communications Consultant.  Ben comes with a strong technical background and will be working with dealers and end users across Canada and the Western US.

From Hytera Omnitronics has also added Edwin Garcia as Senior Sales Engineer.  Edwin is a highly qualified engineer with 30+ years of technical experience in a wide range of radio markets, most recently as Senior Sales Engineer for Hytera America.  Edwin will use his experience with DMR and Radio over IP to provide technical designs for solutions and pre-sales technical support to customers.

Omnitronics is firmly committed to providing not only the best products in the market, but also the best support.  “We recognized a long time ago that providing local, timely technical support in the US market was critical to establishing ourselves and being seen as a viable alternative to the existing vendors.  Having great products means nothing if customers cannot get the support they need after a sale and Omnitronics is firmly committed to providing a positive support experience” says John Florenca, CEO of Omnitronics.  To achieve this, Omnitronics has established a US-based, 24/7/365 support facility so customers needing that level of support can receive it when they need it.

The new team, along with CEO, John Florenca, will be attending APCO in Las Vegas from August 5-8 to show the world the latest in true & tested interoperability and more innovative ways to solve unique client problems.
