We’re looking for a West Coast Sales Manager to join our team in the USA. This role is responsible for driving sales growth for Omnitronics across the US West Region (Pacific and Mountain time zones) through a combination of business development and account management activities.

About the role

As the West Coast Sales Manager you will be responsible for driving sales growth for Omnitronics across the US West Region (Pacific and Mountain time zones) combining business development and account management activities. You’ll have a strong focus on new business development whilst also maintaining and expanding key customer relationships.

Working within a channel-led sales model you will collaborate closely with our reseller partners. You will also recruit, onboard and develop high-performing channel partners, while engaging with end-user customers across Utilities, Public Safety and Transport.

Your initial focus will be on on growing the Utilities and Public Safety sectors, building a strong pipeline and developing a reliable network of regional partners to support long-term, sustainable growth.

This is a highly collaborative role, where you’ll work closely with teams across Sales Engineering, Internal Sales and Marketing to deliver effective coordinated sales outcomes and contribute to overall team success.

 

What you’ll be doing

Channel & Partner Growth

  • Drive partner-led growth, expanding into new and existing partner accounts with a focus on priority partners
  • Develop structured channel plans with clear revenue targets and strategic objectives
  • Enable channel partners to become “revenue ready” through onboarding, training and capable of independently selling Omnitronics solutions
  • Engage in joint selling activities with strategic resellers to win and progress opportunities

Sales Performance & Pipeline

  • Achieve assigned annual sales targets
  • Take ownership of daily activity, including proactive prospecting (cold outreach, meetings, events, webinars and demonstrations) to build and sustain a strong sales pipeline
  • Maintain consistent partner and customer engagement, including regular outreach and conversations

Territory & Opportunity Management

  • Develop, own and execute a clear West Region territory plan under the guidance of the VP Alliances
  • Manage primarily channel-led opportunities end-to-end, from initial engagement through to close
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and apply structured deal strategies where needed

Collaboration & Market Engagement

  • Support the VP Alliances in managing and developing relationships with strategic technology and channel partners
  • Work closely with Marketing to support regional initiatives such as case studies, press releases and customer stories
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams

Sales Operations & Reporting

  • Prepare high-quality quotes, proposals, tenders and RFP responses
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and consistent reporting
  • Actively participate in sales meetings, 1:1 and cross-functional meetings

 

What you’ll bring

Must-have skills and experience

  • Demonstrated success in direct and channel-based sales, ideally within technology, communications or mission-critical systems (experience in LMR, radio dispatch, or RoIP solutions highly regarded)
  • Strong experience managing multi-stakeholder, consultative sales cycles, involving end users, consultants, integrators and channel partners
  • Experience selling into one or more of the Utilities, Public Safety and Transport markets with an understanding of their procurement and operational environments.
  • Proven ability to identify, pursue and win new business opportunities, with a strong track record of pipeline generation and conversion
  • Documented history of achieving or exceeding sales targets, including ownership and successful closure of large or strategic deals
  • Experience working with, developing and enabling channel partners, including joint-selling and account development
  • Strong record of career progression, performance and professional credibility in previous sales roles
  • Highly motivated, disciplined and accountable, with a strong drive to succeed in a competitive sales environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel across the assigned territory as required (typically up to ~30%)

 

Technical Requirements

  • Ability to quickly develop a strong working knowledge of the Omnitronics RoIP console solutions, as well as key competitor and complementary communication technologies
  • Ability to understand and effectively communicate core concepts such as RoIP dispatch solutions, IP networking and SIP-based communications
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using CRM systems for pipeline management, forecasting and reporting
  • Capability to translate technical product capabilities into clear customer value propositions across both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated willingness to leverage AI tools responsibly and ethically to improve productivity, sales effectiveness and operational efficiency within the role

  • Strong understanding of critical communications technologies including LMR, P25, radio systems, dispatch consoles, call recording, and broader IT/networking environments and their value to customers and partners
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strategic, value-based relationships across customers, partners and internal teams
  • Self-starter and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team-based sales environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical, operational and executive audiences
  • Confident in presenting and demonstrating enterprise software and integrated solutions to a range of audiences
