Product Upgrade Paths
We are very proud to know that many of our products perform reliably for decades!
Unfortunately that doesn’t mean that all parts are always available forever and we have to cease spare parts and support on some mature solutions. That said, we always strive to have an upgrade path with a similar or better version of the previous system for each of our End of Life products and we offer FREE Systems Audits* for any Omnitronics user that wants to know where their system stands.
We may still have last quantities of spare parts in stock, so if you are an existing user, it’s always worthwhile checking in to see if any spare parts you need are still available for purchase. No promises made, but it doesn’t hurt asking.
How do I Upgrade my Dispatch Application from Windows 7 to Windows 10 or higher?
If you are on a current Omnitronics omnicare Support & Maintenance Agreement, please contact omnicare Support to check upgrade eligibility.

- omnihub (Version 1.0)
- 950 Dispatch systems
- 960 Dispatch systems
Why are products moved to a “Maintenance Support” phase?
There can be a number of factors. For hardware solutions, electronic component supply and global component shortages often an play a large factor in determining the life cycle for related products. For software, the capability to enhance or support these offerings can be influenced by the life cycle of “software libraries” and, or 3rd party licensing applications leveraged within the Omnitronics software code base.
After a product has been classed as being within a “Maintenance Support” phase; for how much longer will the product be available to purchase?
This is a good question and the response is dependent upon the specific product. In cases, the intent is to generally continue to manufacture and supply the product for the immediate future; but it is just new feature development that may no longer be planned within that specific product line.
