Product Upgrade Paths
We are very proud to know that many of our products perform reliably for decades!
Unfortunately, that doesn’t mean that all parts are always available forever and we may have to cease supply of spare parts and support on some mature solutions. Where possible, we always strive to have an upgrade path with a similar or improved version of the previous system for each of our End of Life products. Omnitronics can offer FREE Systems Audits* for clients wishing to understand the supported level for your current system(s) and also to discuss possible upgrade paths (where applicable).
We may still have final quantities of spare parts in stock, so if you are an existing user, it’s always worthwhile checking in to see if any spare parts you need are still available for purchase. No promises made, but it doesn’t hurt asking.

Which products are currently in "Maintenance Support" phase?
- RediTALK-Flex Dispatch Console
- omnihub (Version 1.0) Media Dock
- 619DSRI Gateway
- 950 Dispatch System
- 960 Dispatch System
Why are products moved to a “Maintenance Support” phase?
Answer:
There can be a number of factors.
For hardware solutions, electronic component supply and global component shortages often an play a large factor in determining the life cycle for related products.
For software, the capability to enhance or support these offerings can be influenced by the life cycle of “software libraries” and, or third-party licensing applications leveraged within the Omnitronics software code base. It can also mean that a software has reached its technology limitation and intended development ceiling, meaning it has all the features/functionality that it was ever designed to have.
After a product has been classed as being within a “Maintenance Support” phase; for how much longer will the product be available to purchase?
Answer:
This is a good question and the response is dependent upon the specific product. In cases, the intent is to generally continue to manufacture and supply the product for the immediate future; but it is just new feature development that may no longer be planned within that specific product line.
